Common questions

My test strip scan looks wrong.

Test strips need consistent lighting. Use daylight or a steady indoor light, hold the strip flat against a white background, and wait the time the strip manufacturer specifies before scanning. AquaWizard supports standard 7-in-1 strips; off-brand strips with non-standard color charts may read incorrectly.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play, not by AquaWizard. On iOS, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

How do I delete my data?

All test history and photos live on your device. Open AquaWizard, go to Settings → Data → Reset to clear everything. Uninstalling the App also removes all on-device data.

Why does AquaWizard ask for location?

Only if you enable the local weather feature. AquaWizard fetches temperature, UV, and forecast for your area to adjust dosing recommendations. You can disable it at any time in your device's system settings; the rest of the App works without it.

Does AquaWizard work for hot tubs and pools?

Yes. The App lets you set up multiple tubs or pools with their own volumes and chemistry targets, and dosing math accounts for each.
